Music and Sports

Music definitely plays a role on our psyche. And there is no question that when listening to music while working out or training we are able to push out that extra rep or run that extra mile, but that’s during training. What about game time?

Well, Professor Peter Terry, a sports psychologist at the University of Southern Queensland, believes that one day music could be that one thing that could give an athlete that winning edge. With technology advancements in mp3 players and shoes combined with the ability to download music this idea is not so far off.

So, I guess next will be hearing about those professional athletes who have been accused of using performance enhancement music.
