But what they don't know is the devil's got'em running from the thing God's ordained them to be.
Tell'em God he knows his story before it's been told,

Teach your sons right from wrong, its the right thing you see
He wants to be like you, so what you gonna do
Be an example by what you do

Baby girl's got a problem, a habit she just can't beat and
The devil's gotta her running too and fro, she can't find no inner peace
When she thinks about the baby she left at home, her soul cries out inside,
So she lights up again trying to make it end, the only way she knows to survive

Sister don't you know you are in charge of a nation, not large but great indeed
You oversee little faces, with big round eyes, and hearts crying out inside
Call on the Lord to conquer your fears, so you can rise to what he made you to be
For you're a mother and sister to all you touch
Baby girl don't you know you are a Queen
