The premier of "Acoustic Fuel Live! - The Message, The Music, and The Movement" aired yesterday at 7AMPST. We hit a few technical glitches, but I thought overall it was a good show. Even with "no show" Larry B. Scott, I thought I was able to get a fairly decent interview with Scott Johnson from the Positve Music Association. I wish we had more time to talk to him. We'll definitely have him back. And it is always nice talking with Caldwell Shine, who's song "Today" is featured on "The Tour", Acoustic Fuel's Digital Compilation Vol. 1.

I have to admit, every time I hear the songs on "The Tour", I get soooo inspired - for lack of better expressions. "High Snow" by Brazz Tree is always fun. "There Will Be Love" by Joe Condiracci is one of those songs that once you hear it, you can't get it out of your head. But, it's a great song. And, "I Have My Goals" by reggae band Anthem has the right combination of truth and tempo that really gets you going when you get stuck in first gear.

This music is what gets me going. It's a vibration like Scott mentioned. It's energy. It's an alternative fuel source that we have just begun to tap into. More importantly and beyond the music, it's what we listen to and feed our minds with. Silence is golden. Try using it and see how much better you feel. Or, check out an audio book or talk radio show like "AF Live!". You'll find that there are no negative side effects. It's even fat and calorie FREE!

"Follow Your Dreams" was this week's theme and we got a chance to talk to a few pretty interesting people. Like Brad Newman, founder of Etavitom.com, that's the word "motivate" spelled backwards. He had a great dream to create a web portal for positive news. With the use of RSS feed technology, he is able to host timely information on positive news all over the web.

Acoustic Fuel Approved! artist Eliot Popkin also joined us. His song "Soar" was featured on the Follow Your Dreams Compilation. He was en route to San Francisco, when we got a chance to catch up with him while he was following his own dreams on his Endless Ride tour.

We also got a chance to meet Miss Melanie Fontana. Just 20-years-old, this native New Yorker joined us from Connecticut and chatted with us about her dreams for breaking the mold of younger entertainers by actually standing for something. We even featured her song "Live Your Life" on the Follow Your Dreams Compilation. Very POWERFUL song. Perfect for any Target commercial! A lot of substance here! She is definitely one to watch!

Our guest host for this week, Yoga Guru and actor, Scott Victor Nelson. He was a GREAT addition to the line-up and we look forward to having him and his point of view back on the show.

But, what keeps resonating with me is what Brad said about following your dreams. He said if you are not making mistakes, you are going nowhere! How true a statement that is. And Eliot said someting about it not happening overnight and how it takes a while to change your mind.

I guess following your dreams is more like a process or a journey. When you are in hot pursuit of a dream, you don't always turn down the right path. But, how do you know when it's right if you are never wrong?

And the song that I can't get out of my head is "Reach for the Stars" by Darius Lux from the Follow Your Dreams Compilation. But, they are all good. Definitely the stuff you need to fill-up on during any transition in life.

"Starting Your Day Off Right" was this week's theme for "AF Live!". We had special guest host, actor and funnyman Larry B. Scott. The show went really well despite having more technical difficulties. This was the first show that we had no music. But, we nevertheless had an great discussion about the best audio to listen to in the morning when preparing for your day.

While it is very subjective, we at AcousticFuel.com have our favorite songs that we like to wake up to and have compiled them in the Breakfast of Champions Digital Compilation. With songs from such popular AF groups as Sundad, American Music Revolution, and Friends of the Family just to name a few you will find a great mix of tunes that can help you get your day started whether you need to be energetic, creative, or calm.
