Scientists believe that music is the language we humans spoke before we used words. Music communicates directly to the body and the heart. We hear the world outside from within the womb, especially our mothers' voice, and when we enter the world her voice is our only guidepost. This is why songs can change the world, because they affect people at the core of who they are.
